it's probably not for the lack of money.

    kahit bilyonaryo ka,
eh kung puro bilyonaryo rin ang mga naka-pila for the more in-demand daytona...

    heh heeh heh.

    i know some folks,
they wear/wore their solitary rolex every day for many years.
a doctor with a sub... a doctor with a datejust two tone... a retired military with a gmt... an ordinary dad had a steel datejust...

rolex owners come from various walks of life.
some collect... some mark life's milestones with a solitary purchase...

    as one watch aficionado says,
to a true aficionado, "there is no such thing as a grail watch.."

Yes because it is good for only 2-3 days after a full wind and that watch winder box also cost a lot.

i really have to rid myself of these so many watches. at my age, i should be content with just two or three.
i'm thinking... the GS quartz... the SNE571... the sea urchin.. mebbe one more... a cheaper rolex would be nice, but their ADs here are practically empty.

    they're just boxes.
unless one twirls the box, it don't wind watches.

I've read na hindi daw advisable yung mga watch winders for automatic watches.. those watches are not made to run all the time daw.... mas mabilis masisira? will need maintenance more? best pa din daw to let it stop when you don't use it.. then just wind it when you're going to use it..

    i also read that.
and my question is, "what can be more aggressive than one's wrist movements?"

i vaguely recall an article from seiko,
that their spring drives might not be advantaged by such watch winders,
    but i forget the details...

What brand of watch do you wear? [Merged]
