I spend if I have the saving or cash at hand Doc, and that savings is at a different country for a reason, so I can't touch it and think hard hehehe.

how do you disinfect your watches?

i've been using my good ole resin timex watch whenever i wander into the apocalypse because it's easy to sanitize. i just include them in my hand washing procedure w/o fuss.

in the meantime, my stainless steel watches have been relegated to the watch box because i've read somewhere that the "veerus" tends to survive up to 3 days on them - just like on plastics. but of course, my banged-up timex plastic watch can be left anywhere w/o worrying much about its fate.

Get a paper towel and spray it with alcohol or any disinfectant. Then use that paper towel to wipe your watch.

It’s just wiping and not soaking. I guess stainless steel will be resistant enough to such things.

Look at this new Oris, the Aquis GMT Date. It’s just a beauty!

    What are your "grail" watches?

I only really have 3 - Omega Speedmaster, Rolex Submariner, IWC Pilot.

Not sure when I'll get the Sub (preferably Date ceramic, but an older model will do if it comes at a good price) or the Pilot Mark XVIII (or any blue-faced Pilot at 40/41mm) - as much as I love these watches, it's hard to prioritize them over more important things like travel, investments, and real estate.

The Aquis is a nice watch Sir, esp with the GMT function.
Problem with that watch is yun strap is integrated so you’ll have to buy from them.
But this is a good value for money timepiece. [emoji1417][emoji4]
