    i actually prefer basic watch.
nothing to adjust every end of the month.
and no cyclops to be wary of scratches.
    Perpetual calendar then doc.

dok naalala mo yung reklamo ko sa change battery na nangtatahga like 250 to 350pesos!!!! So hindi ako pumayag

Tapos sabi ko may nabili ako 40pesos per piece sa farmers cubao na legit assorted battery store.

Ngayon may nakita ako online store pero legit din puro battery. 25pesos!!!!

Mag-aaral na lang ako magbukas ng relo!!! Grabe naman patong tapos puhunan 25pesos!!!! tapos mangsisingil 250/350!!!

Mas matrabaho pa mag oil change tapos 250 lang labor may lifter na.

everyone knows how cheap those watch batteries are.
i am paying the guy a hefty amount to replace my watch battery, because
i do not have the equipment and skill, necessary to safely open and close my watch, to keep it waterproof still, and without scratching it. it's not a casio that one may easily open by twirling four small phillips screws.

so how did you replace your watch battery?

^ My brother tried to replace his personally, guess what, he broke the watch band and now, he needs to buy the P5K steel watch band from Time Depot if he wants to retain the original look of his casio.

Told him that is why I go to the watch shop. They even have the tools to clean the inside and to re-oil the rubber to ensure the watch stays water resistant.

i now use a solar watch.
i haven't had the need to have my battery re-placed for some time now.
my high forehead is now lusting for a grand seiko spring drive...
but a seiko 5 wouldn't need battery replacement, either.
    heh heh.
    watch lust.. watch lust..

    Buy both doc.

One seiko 5 and one GS. I'm 100% sure they'll both look great on you.

Doc, if you need moral support on the GS, Blanc and I will be more than happy to provide it.

Also, buying the 2005 diesel Innova will entail recurring costs like...

    - registration
    - insurance
    - PM/Change Oil
    - Change battery
    - Change tires

The GS won't give you any of those problems. Wala pa coding day! :p

300k? It's a 15 year old car if ever. And tama si King!
It will entail maintenance cost not to mention, other major parts should be replaced as well given its age.

And the watches? It will probably outlive the innova. So, what's it gonna be? 🤭

You know what I have been thinking lately - if I am going to make a big watch early this year or get a toy car for myself. An additional car would mean more maintenance expense, registration, insurance, etc. Wag na nga lang

What brand of watch do you wear? [Merged]
