    Thanks! It's called the power reserve indicator. Shows how much juice the watch has left before you need to wind it.

    I don't know if the pic shows the color, but the hour and minute Breguet-type hands are blue which contrasts nicely with the dial.

    the orient stars are the orient watch company's more premium line.
    some folks will even compare it with seiko's sarb.

    i don't know over there.
    but over here, the posted prices in the display cabinets are for tourists.
    something like "list price" versus discounted price.
    may discount yan by a big chunk. something like 20 to 40%.
