Haha! How I wish! I couldn't even change a bracelet to a leather strap...much less resize one. I had a trusted watchmaker do it for me.

I have the bracelet adjustment set from JW Horological Gallery. For watches like say Tissot, Seiko I can do a strap change/bracelet adjustment fairly easily. But other watches have really stiff spring bars and much tighter tolerance/clearance.. I'm afraid to scratch the lugs if I slip.

Thanks for the compliments, bro! Would you say the watch below is an attractive dress watch? I saw it in Washington recently but different color dial...

    in my opinion,
    pang-plaid.
    hindi pang-barong.
    heh heh.

but then, i suppose ok lang.
most of us are not fashion snobs naman, e.
plastic-shod g-shock lang siguro ang no-no sa barong o 'merkana.

    Wow. It looks so elegant!

Jut's watch that caught my eye is also an Orient. This watch of yours did the same for me

How come I don't see a lot of Orients in this thread? Seems like they make beautiful watches (from my non watch enthusiast POV :p)

Hi doc! I wear my g-shock airman when I'm doing field work! Tough as nails.

i agree. my seaman-nephew agrees, also.
i have an old g-shock, from back when they still made them in stainless steel.
tough as nails, and just as heavy as several four-inchers.
but hey! i can wear it under my barong-ed sleeve.
    it's actually my travel watch.
    heh heh.

What brand of watch do you wear? [Merged]
