The new gs watches with long power reserves are arent widely available. Which gs aside from the snowflake is appealing to you?

    nothing in particular.
like the oyster perpetuals and datejusts,
a sedate, basic three-hand model, even quartz models like the SBGVs.
    classic simplicity.

my senior eyes don't appreciate the built-in toys anymore.

The new Seiko Sumo with the 6R35 movement with its 70-hour power reserve is really good value for around 30k+ new.

i have the seiko sea urchin, SNZF15, powered by 7S36.
    a bit heavy and bulky,
but i am amazed at its out-of-the-box accuracy.
less than 1 minute off in one week.

the dots were staring at me throughout the quarantine. they're even more visible in high-quality pictures.

the polished centerlinks, i think, are in concordance with the polished bezel.

a fluted bezel would be nice, but only if it were gold. the watch blog guy advised, "get the gold fluted bezel and you won't be sorry."

    heh heh.

i remember back when i was young,
dad had a steel rolex with smooth bezel, cyclops, and blue face. i was enchanted by it. i vowed to someday get myself one...

"dad... the servicing alone is already enough to get me a mid-range seiko..."

Servicing cost.. are there options outside Rolex?

What brand of watch do you wear? [Merged]
