i have noticed that when some colleagues of the gown attain a certain level of "sophistication", they don a rolex.
for some of them, it's the only watch they'll wear from then on, until they retire.

for other colleagues, however...
"bai, what happened to your rolex..?"
"mabigat, eh. heto na lang. seiko 5. mas magaan. it tells me what i need to know."

One doctor i know has a collection or rolexes.

they have lots of watches in their display counters. various brands and types. i thought i saw a sun and moon and open heart...
looking and admiring them on a monitor, is nuthin' compared to actually fondling them.
my favorites, are the old, still-stainless steel-bodied g-shocks, in citizen and in prestige above it.

From the official Orient & Seiko seller in PWC, the rose gold Sun & Moon (Arabic numerals) in white or brown dial is being sold for 14k with a leather strap. The stainless steel case model is at 13k.

The older version dial is being sold between 8500 to 10k depending on the case.
