Hi Dr. D!
Basically it means that I was working really hard during that trail run because I was in zones 4 and 5 for most of it. The heat I’m sure doesn’t help too, I usually do better in the winter. Hiking is typically up to zone 3, treadmill runs are up to zone 3 unless I crank up the pace of course.
