but let us not count them out. these fancy jewelry sellers with physical stores there.
i know of some alajeras.
although fancy jewelry is the faster-seller, they do have items that can hold their own against the heavy metal goodies from the east. they don't display them. these heavy items that can tick off into a frenzy the metal detectors in the airport, exchange hands without seeing the inside of the store's display cabinet.

yung retro basahan jersey nyo nga ginawang pang donation na lang. Tapos relo pa gawin commemorative!!! Tapos magmomodel si cagiwa!!!! hahahahah

Dapat kung meron kayo souveneir eh yung 1980s na makapal na gomang black ginagawang wristband. Tapos nakahawak ng gin bulag.

Right out of University, the first watch I bought was a Citizen Aqualand. If you guys know this watch, it was the first one with the depth guage. I was into diving then so it was a watch I naturally gravitated to. After I grew out of that phase, I just set it aside & completely forgot about it for the next 18 years or so. After reading all the posts here & getting myself interested (but not addicted) to watches, is it worthwhile to have it fixed? How much will it cost kaya, having it fixed by Citizen. Most likely the seals & batteries will have to be replaced & the waterproofness restored.
