It's the ordinary green scotch brite. I have some 1500 sandpaper here but not sure if that's less abrasive than the sponge. In any case, I'm sure the clasp will get scuffed up in no time. It's inevitable for a daily driver. What brand of watch do you wear? [Merged]

Locally there's 2000 grit pa and a long time ago I saw 2500 but yup scratches returning are an eventuality.

Others call theirs "desk divers" and "beaters".

    nice.
i'd wear one, too, if i could read the numbers.
actually, i have several retro casio digitals. but i prefer de-kamay because it's not easy to read digitals at a glance, without my glasses.
    heh heh,

Yes doc! Looks so cool and you are correct, i find it hard to read outside esp during the day.

I am reminded of my first digital watch, it was a casio g-shock with brown NATO and silicone straps. It was around 2003 if i am not mistaken.

Nagpunta ako kahapon sa citizen emporium in sm city mla. It's true pala that they've got the most comprehensive orient watches on display. I felt like a sneakerhead in a sneaker store. Napabili tuloy ako ng open heart watch sa kanila although medyo planado naman din.

May iba ba silang branches? Bihira ako makakita ng Orient sa mall eh.

^ i think tanging sya ang nag-iisang branch sa universe 😁

Hindi naman actually mahirap puntahan. Wag lang maabutan ng uwian ng mga uni students sa san marcelino area. Parking is also hassle free although i'm not sure if there's open air free parking area there
