i re-set my electronic watches about once a year, by 3 minutes at worst.
in daily, ordinary use, not even by a long shot are mechanical watches as accurate as the electronic watches. even the "cheap digital ones" at the tiangge are more accurate.
my un-dying seiko 5's and orient ocean star get lost by about 5-8 minutes a month at best.

the rolex, omega and the like? i wouldn't know, as i don't have one. but i see my colleagues' rolexes, and their hands are about 5 minutes away from my electronic watch's.

a full wind will keep the mechanical watch running for 48-72 hours.

i use the radyo time as basis for setting time.

if one is an aficionado, one wouldn't mind adjusting the watch from time to time. "that watch is on the wrist because of something else besides telling time."
a timepiece aficionado once said, "when the timepiece is that expensive, telling the time is not its raison de etre".

me? i prefer "watch and wear". i strap it on, and expect it to tell me accurate time whenever i flick my wrist.

I have 4 automatic watches sir some are +5s perday yung iba -5s perday. Pero napansin ko nag se settle accuracy nila after 4days of using. Pag rotation ang watches mo hindi issue ang accuracy kasi after 1 week of using mga 20seconds lang naman na miss ng watch. I rotate mine every week.

My Edifice world traveller is the most accurate watch that i have, it keeps updating time via bluetooth connected to my iPhone.

Finished charging my Garmin Forerunner 405.

I don't have to adjust the time. It's self adjusting via GPS. It's kind of cumbersome because I have to charge this every 7-10 days. I had this watch for about 6-7 years, if my memory serves me right.

I'm more of a sports watch guy. More on technology rather than wearing a jewelry time piece that cost more than a car.

    YOLO!

Accuracy of mechanical watches depend on a lot of things bro. The ones with standard lever escapement are more prone to positional variation. They also tend to run faster as the power reserve winds down.

Chronometers (COSC) should have a maximum of -4/+6 second average daily variance rate.
