Would rather go Japanese like Seiko and Citizen since, for the same price you’ll get a mechanical watch with more interesting dials.

Victorinox has some decent-looking mechanical watches but it is rare to find them locally. The Officer and Air Boss have classic designs that are worth a second look.

For those looking for some classic-looking (Flieger, Diver, Marine) watches with Swiss movement at an affordable price, best option would be a Steiny. It seems to have a good following in PWC. I had a Steiny Pilot before with the Soprod movement but I flipped it.

The Airboss and Officer collections just don't sing to me. Parang mas maganda pa offerings ni Hamilton, like the Khaki Pilot and Intra Matic.

The INOX...well, I like the watch, but not at Php 25k and up (for a quartz movement!?!). You're right that Steinhart offers much more value and it's also Swiss made, especially the OVM and Ocean One Vintage.

Yep, Hamilton has better designs. I like the complex look of the X-Wind but the simple, rugged look of the Khaki makes it a classic.

Steinhart even offers Valjoux 7750 movement watches for around 50-60k. Other Swiss brands could go up to 2x-4x more.

For those looking to own a chronometer at a bargain, Tissot's Powermatic Chronometer could be had for around 50k locally. Tissot and Certina has started moving to the Powermatic 80-hour reserve movement even on their base models which you can get for less than 30k.

Tanungin nyo si Sarsi kung gaano kalakas yung appeal ng Timex. Talbog yung mga Swiss watches.

What brand of watch do you wear? [Merged]
