Although there really is a shortage of Submariners in the market today. None of the local ADs have Submariner stocks on hand, and there's a pretty long line for it.

Net, this is pushing the prices of Subs upwards, and 5 year old Subs are selling higher now than when they were new as buyers turn to the secondhand market.

My dad got a 90s Sub, which he got brand new for less than 60k back then. This was before the peso devaluation of 1998. 16610 Submariners today can go from 250-400k (source: Chrono24).

Most of the people i asked prefer rolex over any other brands like Audermars, Vacheron, and Patek? I mean they are accomplished and successful pero they settled sa Rolex.

Re: how many? As long as you can afford it. Its a unique bisyo.

Re: other brands? I'm eying a Patek Calatrava, if I can get a good deal in the pre-owned market.

On the other question on why "most" people prefer a Rolex, well a straight forward answer would be because its the most pawnable watch out there. Most pawnshops would accept a Rolex, as long as its genuine.

True. Kahit 1 rolex lang, pwede na sa akin. Unless magka addiction ako. hahaha

Good choice. Classy watch. Sobrang understated yet may "dating".

I see. Funny lang how the super rich don't care what watch they wear. If only we have that much money...

What brand of watch do you wear? [Merged]
