Playing STALKER: Call of Chernobyl. It's hard to make ends meet in free-explore mode.

    This is my Friday (Thursday).

Time to revisit Call of Chernobyl in free-explore mode. The game has many maps taken from all three main STALKER games. But, to make money quickly, it's still best to stay at the Cordon map and venture into the surrounding maps (Garbage, Dark Valley, etc) because they have a lot of enemies and missions. My favorite maps are two maps (Zaton and Jupiter) from Call of Pripyat. But, it's not so easy to make money there. Plus, the Monolith are frequent visitors because the NPP and Pripyat maps are adjacent to the north and east.

Yeah, sure. I used to hate the games. But now? I'm addicted to them.

Going retro this week as I got Baldur’s Gate 1 Enhanced Edition which is on sale in Steam.

I missed playing this game as it totally blew my high school mind back then.

You might want to Google Baldur's Gate Big World Project. You start with Baldur's Gate and continues thru Baldur's Gate 2 Throne of Bhaal with some Big Mods added.

It's 2019 and developers still can't model satisfactory dark nights. The STALKER games get it right though.

I hated that game mostly because I got impatient and stuck my neck out on areas where I was woefully under-leveled.

Downloading the bundle. Now to find time to play it.
