Sorry forgot to mention that I was referring to my 1080ti graphics card. I think the warranty of my graphics card will be voided if I try to replace the thermal pads/paste of the 1080ti.

For my processor I am using Noctua NTH1 thermal grease.

    wow 1080ti.

you can remove the warranty sticker with hair dryer... and put it back on later on for rma in case it gets damaged. nvidia cards have been really good. havent killed one since my msi days...

What 1080Ti brand do you have again? Does it have a warranty sticker?

This is one of the reasons I opted for an EVGA GTX 1080Ti FTW3. EVGA's support is next to none! They fully support reasonable changes to their cards without losing the 3-year warranty.

AFAIK, only MSI has those warranty stickers on their cards but don't quote me on this. I had two Gigabyte GTX 670 WF3's before and were installed with third-party AIO coolers without voiding their warranties. Just make sure not to inform Gigabyte about this, of course. And as long as you do it correctly, Gigabyte won't have a way of knowing that the card has been slightly "modified" by the user.

Trying out the Absolute Nature mod for STALKER: Call of Pripyat. I like it although I had to start over in the game.

The SS Skadovsk reminds me of Leyte....and Miami too post-Hurricane Andrew.

Spending a quiet Sunday playing on the laptop. NFL games on TV should be coming up soon.

I have separate Call of Pripyat campaigns on the PC and laptop. The campaign on the laptop is far behind. So, I'm playing that now.

I started playing with Atari game console. Then I had a few Game & Watch consoles. Finally, the Nintendo family series. I enjoyed playing it for a long time and tried to finish all Mario Bros series without short cuts.

The PC games started to appear on my 386 processor like Wolfenstein 3D. Before this game, you need to load first DOS from 5.25 floppy disk.
