If you're posting to me.......
I have a 6GB GTX 1060. It's fine for most 1080p gaming. I have no plans to move beyond 1080p just yet. I was playing flight sims when my GPU was an Nvidia GTX 560 Ti. There are budget cards nowadays that are far more powerful.
Most flight sims tend to be CPU hogs. I'd go with at least an Intel i3 (or an AMD equivalent in performance) if I'm going to get into flight sims.
My youngest kid has an AMD A10-7850k and a 2GB R9 390. She doesn't stress her computer that much. Minecraft is her most-played game. Otherwise, she plays mostly browser-based games.
I'm leaning towards your computer not being able to handle most newer flight sims. But, the only way to find out for sure is for you to buy a flight sim game and see how it runs. If it runs fine? Good. If not, then you know you have to upgrade.
You might get by with 720p resolution and Low detail settings if you go with the APU. I would not bother with a newer GPU if you plan to play newer flight sims. The A10-9800 is probably too weak a CPU overall.Last edited by Jun aka Pekto; October 8th, 2017 at 11:35 AM.

The newer flight sims are still CPU hogs. But, they also require more powerful video cards.
I have two screenshots of Aerofly FS 1. My CPU is my now old AMD FX-8350. But, it started out with a GTX 560 Ti video card. I upgraded the latter with a GTX 770 the following year. They're two generations apart. At max detail, the GTX 560 Ti struggled while the GTX 770 barely broke a sweat.

The 2012 Aerofly FS 1 looks pretty bad at ground level. But, at flight level, it looks nice.

Flight sims can be run using a variety of settings to suit the PC it's running on. You can dial down some settings until they run okay.
For example, I bought Flight Simulator X in 2007.Back then, I had an Athlon64 X2 4200+ CPU. I definitely had to dial down some settings to make it run okay. I was usually happy if I got a steady 30 fps. I can also lock the framerates from within the game.
The A12-9800 by itself (no separate video card), I'd stick with a resolution of 1366x768 and (probably) dial down some settings.

The sundown and dusk skies in the STALKER games are really nice.....almost like the real ones here.

Started playing Fallout: New Vegas. Although it runs much better than the STALKER games, it sure looks terrible, even when it first released years ago.

I had to re-download a number of games from Steam, Uplay, and Origin after replacing my PC primary hard drive storage from 2 GB total to 5 GB.
Doom 2016, Fallout 4, and GTA V together took up most of the afternoon yesterday.

Got a good deal from Lazada recently for a 1080ti Aorus so I'm back to gaming. Currently playing GR Wild Lands and Shadow of War. Grabe kahit 1080p gaming, on ultra settings and a little bump on resolution scaling I can still max out the 1080ti.
Done with my change oil at Petron. 4,230 pesos for the 8L fully synthetic 5W-40. They told me that...
