I like riding the train too. then sniping people while in it. apparently cops don't know how to get into a train or how to stop a train.

The best they can do is get you with one shot via sniper rifle whether from a SWAT SUV or from a helicopter. Climbing aboard? Nope. If you have enough stars to warrant a jet fighter going after you, it can get you too.

One time over a gorge, I tried to light up a jet fighter with a 6-barrel minigun as it passed overhead. It turned around and started looking for me. Luckily the train went into a tunnel.

I still have Hard Reset, Watch Dogs, Mass Effect 3, and Bioshock Infinite to download.
So far, I have on the laptop:

    Metro: Last Light
    Crysis Warhead
    Crysis 2
    Crysis 3
    Far Cry 2
    Far Cry 3
    Far Cry 4
    Doom 3
    Bioshock
    GTA V
    Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption
    System Shock 2
    SOMA
    STALKER: Call of Pripyat
    Command & Conquer 3/Kane's Wrath
    The Witcher 3
    World in Conflict

The above should be plenty enough in case we go on a road trip this holiday season.

Metro: Last Light on the lappie. One of the games that didn't benefit from Windows 10. I recall framerates being higher on Windows 8.1.

It's already forcing DX10. I probably should reduce graphics settings to Medium instead of High. That way, combat sequences can stay above 30 fps.

Redux.... You mean Metro: Last Light Redux?

I'm not a big fan of buying essentially the same game twice. Now, if let's say a remake of Far Cry 3 came out with all of Far Cry 4's features? That one I'll buy because there are some very glaring differences.

Hmmm. Turning off the extra PhysX stuff improved the framerates better than reducing detail from High to Medium.

Fps went from upper 20's to upper 30's during combat scenes. Still at forced DX10.

More Metro: Last Light, this time on the desktop. Taking a few days off after a thorough SOP inspection/update at work. I spent quite a few days working past 2 AM (took my work home).

Hard Reset on the laptop. Don't know if it improved under Windows 10. It already played well long before.

Videogames anyone?
