tanong lang.
i got my sun sim last week, tapos after my first text, was informed that i now have P100 load (per my understanding, P100/mo for the next 3 months). check.
tapos, last friday, i checked my load and it was at P84. i proceeded to load a 24/7 prepaid card worth P100. i was told by a friendly sun cellular employee in shangri-la, that 24/7 would be activated after 24 hours from loading. up to last night, which is 72 hours from the time i loaded, P84 pa din ang balance ko. di pa din reflected ang P100 24/7 load. ba't ganun? my friend, who i "persuaded" to get a sun sim para may ka-text ako, ganun din ang nangyari sa kanya.
any ideas? ang hirap naman ng 24/7 na 'to.
on a positive note, may signal ang sun in san fernando, pampanga, silang, cavite, tagaytay. also in my usual hang outs in makati, mandaluyong and QC.

yung 24/7 is unlimited for sun-to-sun local calls and is not applicable to NDD calls.
question: kung sun-to-sun pero one party is in bohol (for example) and the other in metro manila, does that count as a local call? or NDD na ba yun, kasi long distance? in short, kung metro manila to any point in the provinces, sun-to-sun, libre pa din ba?

April_ryan. The P100 for the 24/7 card you loaded will not be reflected in your prepaid balance. What happened was it gave you free sun-sun text and calls for 10 days. Yung P84 balance mo mababawasan lang when you call/sms other networks. Go ahead. Try calling/texting a sun number... you'll see that your 84 load wont be touched (well, barring any technical hiccups j/k
)
By local network, we mean that anywhere you are INSIDE sun's network libre yung call. so if you are here in Manila and your called party is in Mindanao (Sun subscriber din), effectively unlimited yung call.

The most intriguing stock is Digitel. Apparently, the 24/7 promo is doing very well and high school students have all been switching to Sun Cellular so that they can talk or text night and day. Some university students have followed suit, but the older members are staying with Smart or Globe. The one mobile company that might be affected is Pilipino Telephone Co. as this is also at the low end of the market.
I love DGTL $$$$

sir tebs.. pag nag 250 ka na load may free text ka pa.. pag nag 250 ka na CTU wala.. but hassle nga lang pag nagcoconvert ka pa into ctu..
btw, sir mazda bakit yung iba ngayon may 15 days pa rin na free??? actually last week pala
