For me i would rate the experience as above average.

Problems that I encountered when I migrated from Android
1) no option to migrate your sms messages. May restriction ang Microsoft doing this kaya walang development team na gumagawa nito

2) Laging last priority sa update ng known apps like fb, twitter, etc.

3) Latest problem yung Amber GDR 2 update. Pero kung hindi ka naman siguro Sun Cellular hindi mo ito mapapansin

4) Mas madami free apps si android

5) If you plan to build your own apps dapat naka windows 8 ka rin to install the sdk.

What I like about it.
1) Camera is great in taking pictures and video

2) Built in anti virus, anti malware, locate phone and remote wipe.

3) Nokia maps has a built in augmented reality application that highlights establishments nearby. Parang heads up display ni Ironman hehe

4) Configure it properly umaabot ng 3 to 4 days for evey charge cycle

5) Near field communication support

6) Voice commands 85% accurate. Speaking normally sko nyan ha.

7) Unibody construction

8) Corning gorilla glass

9) support up to 64 gb na micro sdhc

I'm also a Windows 8 user. Nokia yung gamit ko.

Tama na mas Marami pa rin advantage ios and android but what I like is the smooth ui, gps is fast loading, great camera, solid build, live tiles, and most of all is the office software. Accurate sa power point, excel, and word. Hindi tulad ng sa android, pagload sa windows laptop iba na itsura. Kailangan adjust.

It's miles away sa apps pero if your not into apps, great alternative sa android and ios. But if your into apps, this platform is not for you.

Price of nokia lumia 1020 sa sm north is P38k while kimstore offer it for P25k only. Wow grabe laki ng difference.

Maganda rating ng Note 3 sa reviews ng gsm arena. It should be no problem. Btw, bumaba na price ng Note 3 nasa 33K na lang ung LTE.

Forgot to mention the "Kids Corner" built in App. Just choose the app, pics, vids and other items that you want your kid to use. When I use this profile I just let my 2 year old boy do his stuff on the phone not worrying that he might accidentally make a call

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 new color palette goes international

On Friday Samsung Argentina spilled the beans on upcoming new color options for the Galaxy Note 3 phablet - red and rose gold. Today Samsung has issued a press release announcing not two, but three new editions of the Note 3 color palette.
Basically there is just one new color options - the Merlot Red. The other two are new accents of the popular Jet Black and Classic White flavors called Rose Gold Black and Rose Gold White. Those editions keep the base color, they just replace the silver elements (the framing around the phone, the camera, the Home key and the S-Pen) with Rose Gold ones.

Maganda ngang benchmark ang apple. Wala naman problema kung Android or iOS, mahal lang ng iphone ngayon, parang hindi sulit.

if your a heavy user go for smartphone na removable battery. downside ng mga non removable na battery like yung iphone 5 3500 ang cost ng battery plus labor cost of 2k sa greenhills. there is also a risk na pwedeng mag malfunction yung ibang function once binaklas or binuksan yung unit.

Would you avail of iPhone forever of globe?

Advantage: You will always have to latest iPhone every year.

Disadvantage: your 2 year lock up period will always reset to 2 years every new iPhone release. Also you don't get to keep the replaced phone.
