August 14th, 2007 12:25 AM #11Sony is launching the D series this quarter (which has Motionflow 120hz, HDMI x3, 24 fps support)........pero only get that model if the 32 inch will sell for 100k or less (or if you have tons of money to burn). Lugi ka kung 32-inch D series ang bibilhin mo pero nasa 110k or so.
Another alternative is Samsung Bordeaux Plus LCD TV. A neat LCD TV that was real worth it.

phase out na raw yung 32" slimfit tv ng samsung.
best alternative is the one posted by blackraven (LA32R81B)... 8,000:1 contrast ratio, 3HDMI, etc.

kung mag LCD kayo better splurge on the 40" model, 32" is not really big screen tv, bitin sobra, thats why 32" slimfit binili ko dati because papalitan ko rin ito sometime in the future when bumaba uli prices ng 40" LCDs

August 15th, 2007 10:13 PM #14+1 w/ BlackRaven's post, i dunno kung naglabas sila ng 37's na model na Bordeaux dito sa pinas, pero ganun ang balak ko sana once it's time to upgrade our CTV. Sulit 'to, 3 HDMI and the contrast ratio is very nice

yan ang gusto ko Samsung... high contrast ratio... in comparison to other brands na similarly priced (nasa 1:1200 lang yata).

^^^ Dynamic contrast ratio is different from Static contrast ratio. Medyo madaya ang Samsung dito, kasi the 8,000 to 1 contrast ratio they're marketing is the Dynamic Contrast Ratio. Loosely translated, that's equal to 1,600 static contrast ratio, which is about equal to the contrast ratio of other models. I read about it from pinoydvd.com, just don't know if I got the facts straight.
Samsung lang yata ang gumagamit ng Dynamic CR as a marketing strategy.Last edited by Galactus; August 16th, 2007 at 08:38 AM.

But still the picture quality of Samsung is better than most LCD TVs that we've seen.
