One gripe I already have with Warhead is the KPA AI seemed to have been dumbed down a bit. In the original Crysis, when KPA came across a dead comrade, they immediately went into alert mode. In Warhead, I saw one KPA just stand at attention with three dead comrades around him and I'm playing once more in Delta difficulty.

I also noticed aiming with the reflex sight or assault scope has been dumbed down as well. The original Crysis seemed to have the more accurate behavior with the crosshairs tending to wander more. I had to develop good timing to snipe in Crysis. The same is a no-brainer in Warhead.

My one big gripe with Warhead is the more scripted play. In Crysis, I didn't go to the next level until I wanted to. In Warhead, that seems to have been taken away. There's nothing more infuriating than having killed one of three KPA then told the objectives have been met and moving on to the next level when there's still the two KPA running towards my character.

Well, I didn't have any glitches with the original Crysis. It was in Crysis: Warhead and only the first scene with the moss and lichen on the tree. I haven't seen it on succeeding chapters and Level 2 (where I have it saved for the moment).

I think you'll like Crysis: Warhead better. There's way too much drive n shoot and ride n shoot for my tastes compared to the first game.

I think the glitch in Warhead only showed itself while I was in pure Enthusiast/Very High setting (AA off). I haven't seen it since once I used my trusty settings.

I tried patching Warhead. The glitch is still there. Luckily, I haven't seen it since. Anyway, Warhead does seem to have more rail shooter sequences. I'm not fond of them. The better 3rd-person view made it much easier:

Ugh. Must they include so many rail shooter sequences in Crysis: Warhead? Here's another rail shooter sequence....literally. Level 6 of Warhead.

I keep going back to the last part of Level 3: Relic in Crysis. It's exhilarating especially when I put the gun away and not fire a shot, just scoot and evade.

Warhead is more of a shoot and run kind of game compared to the original Crysis. It's more fast paced and all that. So yeah it has less nostalgic value hahahaha.

    More to Rion's tastes then.

Warhead has it's moments too between the riding and driving sequences. I'm not too far from the end. I'm at the train stage right now. But, I decided to take a break for now.

    http://www.wondertouch.com/demos_30_win.asp
    it has 30 day trial.

open this project file in your pIllusionRenderDemo.exe
    http://www.sendspace.com/file/imo08c

or make your own... save it and open it in pIllusionRenderDemo.exe

save it as any video file format with "hardware acceleration enabled"

Ah gee. I just uninstalled the trial AE S4 and deleted the almost 900mb install file last night. Adobe apps seem so fat and bloated. I prefer more nimble, less capable apps.

I don't really feel like downloading the thing again. Ya missed me by a few hours...

    Anybody played Dead Space?

I played it once, but didn't continue playing after an hour...

my reason: my mouse is broken, felt helpless and terrified.

planning to install it again soon... after I replace my old broken mouse. lol

Well, ATI cards weren't known for OpenGL support except maybe their FireGL cards.

There are other apps that ATI OpenGL works fine in although I can't recall any at the moment.

may dx11 na pala na benchmark tool noh?

    Unigine 'Heaven' DX11 Benchmark

    http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads...Benchmark.html

tried it, it works on my 4850, but my opengl benchmark crashes.

    not so surprised though...

    Known drivers issues:

[ATI] Alpha-testing is wrong in OpenGL
[ATI] Depth of field works incorrectly in OpenGL
•[NVIDIA] Low color precision on 7xxx series
    Lol!

    Lol!
OpenGL worked on mine. But, it's butt-ugly and didn't render the grass right. You have to turn off AA. All OpenGL games I've had never supported AA.

Anyway, the benchmark frame rates across the board from DX9-DX11 had Crysis written all over them.
