Yup. I'm running it in Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OEM. It's actually the pre-release demo. No updates for the demo.

I had texture problems with the original Far Cry in Win 7 RC. Everything is like a white fog. Heaven I guess .

I'd install Far Cry in this pc. But, one of the discs is going bad. Hopefully it's merely a scratch I can remove.

The framerates in the Crysis demo were 22-31 fps when I first installed it. Then, they went up. Crysis should do fine at 1440x900 because it's pushing less pixels than say, 1280x1024.

    1440 x 900 = 1,296,000 pixels 1280 x 1024 = 1,310,720 pixels.

Once I hook my pc to our old 32" 720p tv, Crysis should do even better since the res is limited to 1280x768. I guess I can compensate for the lower res by increasing the AA to 4x.

I got turned off by Crysis when I heard how much of a resource hog it is. But now playing the demo with a rig that can handle it...... I like it. Crytek should've put Jack in it and called it Far Cry 2. Crysis should've been the one set in Africa.

    POK POK POK POKAAAK!

    Cool!

    Is virtualbox3 free?

If so... I'm thinking of creating a double boot just to check it out... Windows is such a memory hog...

Sun VirtualBox is free. But, it's a virtualization software within a host OS.

Sure enough. A bunch of Windows 7 updates/patches fixed the install issue on many games.

I downloaded the ArmA 2 demo again. But, there's a lot of nonstandard keyboard assignments. Obviously, this isn't Crysis or Far Cry. Ugh. I have to memorize the keys first......

But, it runs pretty well on my pc at 1440x900 with AA and AF maxxed out and everything else set to High (Highest/Very High is the top setting).
