I'm planning to buy my first LCD or LED TV. Preferably 40" to 42". 1080p. Not the 3D version. I'm gearing towards Samsung, Panasonic, LG and Skyworth brands in the order stated.

But one thing concerns me is the refresh rate of 60hrz or 120hrz.

One sales guy in SM told me that all Skyworth LED TV 40"/42" are with 120hrz refresh rate. Is this true?

On the other hand Samsung TVs are 100hrz?

Is there really a big difference, specially since the higher the refresh rate the more expensive the TV is?

for bigger screens.. refresh rate is noticeable.. specially if you're playing video games.. so the higher the better..

now a day's.... 42" is a bit small... go for 51 plus inches... preferrably 55"... unless nalang kung maliit lang ang rm... pero kung sala dapat talaga 55"..... bitin masyado pag 42" lang, just my opinion po... i bought 42" sa room namin... nagsisi ako at least pala 51" ang binile ko...
