    RPTV bulb lasts up to 5-6 years depending on use. Replacement bulbs are also cheap now at $250.

    I know 'cause I have the Mitsu WS55807 before;

    I replaced it last month with this.. Mitsu WS65731;

    Cheers!

    I would think so. Everything is in chinese - manual and specs I even had a hard time trying to communicate with the sales person But I think it has pixel plus looking at the spec sheet, not sure about the ambilight...

    HT gurus,

    watcha think of this? costs 6k only. I am having second thoughts. it will naturally add more boom albeit not as loud as a typical HT system.

    I would like to have this sit in the recreational room with the Philips LCD TV. Its only a small room, like a condo, not very spacious

    me pixel plus na yan, but not the pixel plus 2 and walang ambilight yan....

    Its an old model....actually less than 8K HKD yan nung clearance sale ng Phillips dito...about 2 months ago..... not bad at all for an 8K LCD TV....

    What I've got is also 32" Pixel Plus 2 w/ ambilight for less than 10K HKD.....
    This is also from Phillips Clearance Sale of 2 mos. ago...

    Hmmm. It looks like ours, Magnavox 32". Of course, it's a rebadge of the Philips...... Only NTSC tuner built-in. That's ok. HD tuners are cheap nowadays. DVD's look great as do HD at a friend's who also has the same one.

    Suwerte mo, 5Speed......mura yan. Ang maganda sa Philips may feature pa sila na ang tawag yung "natural motion" feature ba yun? (limot ko na yung buong term). Kung saan yung mga action movies, yung fast moving action scenes, eh smooth ang galaw. Unlike sa ibang mga brands, pag gumagalaw yung scene, nagja-jag (parang nanginginig) yung object.
