wulf, before you trade in your uber tool, i suggest you check out the specs first 64MB lang yan! Chinese made, but I think the O2 network wants to market it as the XDA3.

Again, let me reiterate, the "XDA3" is not made by HTC. Caveat Emptor!

Yes Pocket PC PDA's can sync with a MAC.

I'm currently using Missing Sync from Mark Space which is a 3rd party app. There is also Pocket Mac.

If you're planning to sync with Entourage, then Pocket Mac is your only choice, the Missing Sync can only sync with AddressBook and iCal. Pocket Mac also has more features like a Pocket PC Theme Creator and Mail app sync but it's much more expensive than Missing Sync.

    Isn't QTEK the Xda & Xda2's manufacturer?
Same as the SAP & SAP2?

Taiwan's HTC is the manufacturer of the XDA series as well as the 'Amazing Phone'.

QTEK is probably just a trade name for their products in regions not sponsored by any carrier.

Incidentally, O2 is a wireless telco network in Europe it's not a phone manufacturer as many people percieve.

The XDA is available as the XDA1/XDA2, MDA/MDA2, iMate, Qtek1010/Qtek2020 etc etc etc.

edit: HTC gained fame by being the manufacturer of the ipaq 3XXX series. Im not too sure lang kung sila pa gumagawa nung current ipaqs.

    Ponyeta!!!

I think I busted my XDA's USB connector. Im not talking about the plug, but rather the small 'card' that the recharge plug plugs into.... yung sa XDA mismo!!!

I remember, while trying to charge, patay ang ilaw, i forced the recharge cable into the XDA. Parang nag spark! Since lights off and lasing ata ako, i just thought nananaginip lang ako.

Now, when i try to sync, hindi marecognize yung device! BUSEEEEET!!!

Bluetooth dongle to the rescue!!! Buti na lang i was able to set up a partnership using BT. Bad thing is, I might be stuck with ROM version 1.60WWE forever since i dont think you can upgrade the ROM via BT.

    Buset....

Actually hindi lang alcohol. I have this habit of trying to plug the charger in the dark. I actually damaged the plastic head of the charger plug, which problably caused the short (spark)

haaaaay..... anyways aliw naman ang bluetooth activesync!!! da best. Yun lang nga wala nang rom update.... WAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!

BTW, XDA boys, try ninyo itong S/W na ito ....

SPB FULL SIZE KEYBOARD.... allows you to sms with your fingers! It converts the XDA screen into a duh, full size keyboard. so kung miss niyo na yung nokia days ninyo, this is the one for you. $10 lang.
