    Iba ang approach ng pagluto sa induction cooker, kailangan bantay ka talaga. Ao i prefer yung usual electric stove. Though mas matagal ang trabaho, mas controlled naman yung init and puwede ka mag multitask. Sa induction kasi, once mag-start ka, tatapusin mo muna talaga sya

    It is doing good business because the condo dwellers are not allowed to use LPG.... so the only choice is electric stove. With that it makes economic sense to engage a more efficient solution.

    Yeah, bawal ang LPG sa Condo.

    I just bought one Last week. It's a Dowell. Bilis mag luto at very efficient mag fry. I can even adjust it at it's lowest setting in Stir-Fry mode at 60W

    Tingin mo sir may taste difference kung induction-cooked?

    Boss sometimes mahal talaga magquote ung iba for induction cookwares, pero aoo nagulat nung ipaliwanag sa akin na most of the cookwares available is pede sa induction cooking. Basta bakal sya not teflin coated yung mga white at flat ang ilalim pwede na. May tig 100-10000 each depende kung gaano ka kasosyal. Hehwh

    Been using induction cookers for 4years na. It's a better alternative to katol electric stoves. One time, we went to the province and there's no available LPG (midnight na and all stores are closed) and we can only use katol electric stove, we were reminded how quick induction is. Imagine boiling a kettle of water takes more than a freakin hour. So, I advised the housekeeper to get an induction cooker so we won't be dealing with such hassle next time (anyway, Saladmaster naman cookware nila).

    Anyway, here in Manila, one can get Zebra (a thai brand) stainless cookware. It's good value, thick and heavy for its price. (more or less 2k lang isa).

    Us, we still use the freebie pot though I've burned countless, it I'm amazed it's still not torn and some Nutritech cookware. Personally, If it's a new collection just buy the whole range of Zebra for practicality. Seagull (another Thai) mukhang ok din but I haven't tried that.

    Maganda sana kung may local brand but I don't know one.

    and yes, it is more efficient, not necessarily more matipid. For example, you can boil a kettle of water for about 5 minutes at full power (2100 watts). With Katol elec stove (no idea but perhaps 1500w-2000w), that takes more than an hour. Surely, you can save a lot with induction.

    Kaldero namin sa induction tig 100 lang ata yun sa mga japanese stores. Sobra nipis nga lang. Minsan hindi napansin ng misis ko mataas yung watts naiwan ng matagal ayun nagbaga yung kaldero. Haha.

    Ngayon bumili sa ever tig 400 ata na non stick.

    Sa cookware ko, bumili nalang ako ng Masflex items. Hindi siya ganun ka mahal un like Sunnex na alang wenta.

    To use a car analogy. Both cars are 4 cylinder, pero yung isa induction type at yung isa naman traditional electric stove.

    With the same 'fuel' (wattage), the induction car can go faster and further than the traditional car. So parang 40 km/l going at 200kph! And it doesn't need Z-rated tires only, kasi pwde na naman slightly more expensive tires.
