Maybe it's strictly the wireless portion. When I tested our Mini and my pc using Firefox on both computers on a wired connection and a cable modem, my pc (X2 4200+ XP Home) was faster although it didn't really matter because our cable modem is blazingly fast.

I was testing the speeds accessing tsikot.com in that thread about tsikot.com being slow.

I used Firefox on both because it was faster than either IE7 or Safari 2. Now that Safari 3 is out for both Mac and pc, I might end up using it more because it looks like it caught up with Firefox speedwise.

i might go for a dual os config, probably vista yung isa para magamit ni kumander na hindi pa masyadong gamay sa mac osx. pero sanayan lang yan! contingency plan lang

    my current setup sa home:

    Linksys WRT54G

    Imac G5 (mine)
    2nd Imac G5 (wife)

Dell latitude 600 this is one has intermittent connection, dahil puro spyware siguro hehehe but the Imacs are error-free/fault-free. in fact I never encountered any dsl disconnections since a year ago pa.

naka WEP encryption pa nga coz I just found out that 2 of my neighbors are enjoying free internet access courtesy of me

dati naka hook ako using wifi but had some trouble with the connection pag nag parallel's desktop nako.
i'm using my MBP's ethernet connection now so habang nagse-surf ako sa OS X, simultaneously surfing din ako sa windows using parallel's.

getting the best of both worlds!
