Nephew have this less than yr old HP bought frm US, its exhibiting intermittent flickering display issue. I told him from the start not to buy HP and stay away from 2-in-1 touchschreen, instead I recommended Dell or Acer. I'd also stay away from Lenovo, after the Chinks took over quality went bad.

my old acer had hinge issues. also had screen flickering. i did a diy replacment using OEM parts from ebay.
never had issuea with HP laptops - i've been using different models for over 15years.

Bsta on your next purchase, never get 2-in-1 touchscreen as they are pain to repair. Always get business series as it retains the legacy ports(VGA, HDMI, USBA) and design more rugged.

    Travelmate for Acer
    X series for Lenovo
Latitude or Vostro for Dell (I prefer gaming G-series if for desk use)

Acer may service center sa Otis, kung masira screen madali hanapin since AUOptronics is also Acer dami sa Quiapo. Matibay din Asus but may overheating issue tulad ng hP (asper my experience) maliit kasi yung heatsink kahit linisin mag recur din over time.

The hinge on my 2 yr old laptop broke! Now I need a book or something heavy behind the screen to keep the monitor up. Does anyone know where I could have this repaired? I am thinking of buying a new laptop. I only use it for surfing the net lang naman. Sayang lang kasi it's only the hinge that is the problem
