Hello, I'm not sure if this was discussed here before but I just would like to ask if worth it ba mag UHD tv na? I don't know if magagamit ba sa Skycable HD ang 4K/UHD tvs. Ang pagka alam ko HD pa lang sila. Medyo nagdadalawang isip kasi ako kung sulit mag UHD na or just buy the cheaper FHD na lang since hindi pa naman capable sa 4k ang mga cable providers dito sa pinas. I'm thinking of upgrading for atleast 55" LED tv. Will be used for skycable HD, youtube and PS4

No need to buy UHD TV for now. There's not much 4K content and if you watch 1080p or 720p video, the upscaling will make the picture quality worse. Buy the HD TVs since price of these units would have gone down already. The money you save now will be enough to buy a 4K TV about 3 years from now when prices have stabilized.
Avoid TCL, when buying TV use same criteria as when buying a car. Stick with Japanese or Korean.

oh i see. curious what happened? wala bang mabiling parts? TIA
+101 here, I'm beginning to get seconds thoughts what TV brand should I buy. Either the 40" TCL 4K UHD TV with tons of features VS. 43" LG LED with only basic smart TV features. Both TV brands are almost same price at 23K cash payment
As we know TCL is a sister company of RCA USA , it's locally assemble so I assumed madaling makahanap ng parts where as LG a well know branded TV as well as LED screen manufacturer. AFAIK LG is not locally assemble TV. Grrr talagang nahehelo na tayo.

yung 36" TCL ng sister ko nagkaron ng lines, then nawala ang color green so yellow and blue pixels na lang meron. palit screen daw, and the screen costs almost as much as a new one.
yun naman 46" devant namin naging double image. same palit ng screen, same din the screen costs almost as much as a new tv of the same size. eto pinalitan ng LG.Last edited by yebo; April 8th, 2016 at 11:30 AM.
