you just have to buy a USB 2.5" hard disk casing (around P350 - P600) then install any 2.5" HD and you have yourself a USB external HD.

yup it will eat a 120MB of your 1GB if your built-in has an 8MB of it..

i don't know if you can play 3D games of the built in ones...

whats the purpose of the laptop, are you a gamer, or just browser, do some presentations to the clients.....

1.8 is good enough, just buy additional RAM, mine is at 1.73GHz but i can play 3D games, Prince Of Persia, DOOM3, Battlefield and other exciting 3d games....

i buy an aluminum housing with the controller built in just like this one
60G on the left side, 40G on the right side w/ different USB connector type

I prefer laptops over desktops since I'm not a gamer & I don't run any CPU intensive tasks. Anong purpose ng PC sa iyo?

Kalimitan surfing lang saka typing purpose ng PC sakin. May occasional Photoshop at encoding. Ang gusto ko sa laptop, hindi gaanong malakas sa electricity at pwede paring pakinabangan ang portability niya sa bahay. Like now, nandito ako sa couch nagsusurf habang nanunuod ng CSI Miami. Hindi ako glued sa isang space. Isang charge abot ng ~3 hours+, at kapag naubusan madaling ilipat ang adaptor. Actually, kabebenta ko lang ng parts ng desktop ko kasi nawalan na ito ng purpose.

Correct ka riyan! Malakas sa kuryente desktops (300 W power supply, monitor 90 W). Kumpara mo sa note book 90W lang.

nah, i dont do much games on the PC, i use my PS2 instead. i'll use the laptop for browsing, presentations, photo editing. thanks for the suggestion, bawiin ko na nga lang siguro sa RAM. mas mura bumili ng extra RAM than get the laptop with a 2.0Ghz speed.
