January 5th, 2005 02:29 PM #11PLDT is trying to recover from the bad service during the holidays - our DSL was down the entire 3 weeks of December due to faulty PLDT-supplied DSL modem and power supply. They were only able to fix it Jan 3, saying they were swamped by similar problems the whole time.
We are now thinking of alternative service providers. If this the kind of service we get from PLDT, then the others would certainly have some market to attract.
