    Just to be sure... as most thumb drives have a physical lock that allows/disallows writing to the disk, can you confirm that the lock is set to the "write" position? It is normally an image of an open padlock.

    It doesn't have a physical write protect switch.

    you might be confused... most usb flash drives don't have a physical write protect switch. This is a common feature of SD cards though.
