Is marantz a good receiver? This is being sold for around 15K, almost brand new (with warranty).

DTX is Dai Ichi... suggest ko mag Gale ka nalang... before, Gale is a high end brand pero ngayon ng change na ata sila ng target market. Gale is a sister company of Mordaunt Short.

I was about to buy that before i decided to get my HK. I rank it 70 HT/30 Music.

panalo yan A-Audio speakers. Galing tumunog- mala mission. bought a sub from them, ok na ok. 10" Kevlar - powered na for 5.5k.

read it somewhere na madaling magpunit ng speaker ang marantz.
stick to your criteria mazda, if you favor movies, yamaha, kung music hk
parang choosing mud tires and highway tires, know your needs

add ko lang yung DTX kasi imported ang drivers, and export quality rebadge nga as eros speakers sa australia eh,
also yung JBL na Home Theater in a Box Speakers, Daichi ang gumawa nun, sub con sila, also Cerwin Vega sila din ang gumawa
OEM manufacturer sila.

yung Gale and others made in china

napansin ko rin na there's no dedicated HT speakers unlike sa audio na maselan ang receiver/speaker matching,

anyways ito sana ang balak ko

Got also a sub from A-Audio. The one with the black cone.
Medyo malakas ang humming sound when i turn it on.

yup narinig ko na ito sa showroom ng dai-ichi sa 5th floor bldg B sa megamall. for my ears ok na siya kaso lacking sa highs ok mids and bass for music.
6,500 yata yung DTX 4.10 sub
so for 14,200 complete na 5.1
btw yung mga prices quoted at Raon, mas mahal sa showrooms

mas ok etong EFD series (other pic)
mas mahal nga lang, yan yung naka kabit sa mini theater nila.

mukhang may grounding problem ka, try mo other cable, pag nandun pa rin dalhin mo na lang nirv.

Kim:::front and center speakers should have the same drivers. or you can matched it with your C-channel equalizer in your yammy.

yup di ko nga alam kung ano ang front ko jung gale or monitor
for sure kung ano ang front siya rin ang center.

for rear baka mag dtx ako gusto ko kasi floorstanders din ang rear ko
