Would you pay $100 for a device that could tell you why your infant is screaming his lungs out in the middle of the night? If you answered yes, then you need to check out the Cry Baby Analyser from ThinkGeek. It’s a small battery powered gadget that displays the temperature, humidity and uses advanced frequency analysis technology to let you know why your child is screaming to the heavens. It will tell you if your baby is Stressed, Sleepy, Annoyed, Bored or Hungry. Whether you believe it’s analysis is another story.

Hahaha! Taking the excitement out of parenthood...

A translator for infant cries is a smart gadget designed to help parents understand what their baby might need, such as hunger, sleep, or discomfort, by analyzing different cry patterns. It uses sound recognition and AI technology to interpret variations in pitch and intensity, giving helpful suggestions in real time. While it is not always 100% accurate, it can be a useful support tool for new parents trying to respond quickly to their baby’s needs. In a similar way to structured communication systems like the morse code alphabet, it turns signals into meaningful messages that are easier to understand.
