Sony Bravia 32" . I was supposed to buy 26" lang. Pero sabi nung salesman dapat daw i-base yung size kung gaano kalayo o kalapit ilalagay ang lcd sa pwesto ng nanonood. Tama naman sya.

yung Philips CRT flat screen ko din, ayaw mamatay. It's been 7 years now. For some reason,my Philips CRT picture quality is the same for my newer 26" LCD hdtv. And I dont see any "flicker" that was previously mentioned.

oh well, baka hindi ko lang pansin..

You guys with Sony Bravias make me sick. He he. I'm so sick with envy. Tried to get the wife to buy one...... no dice. At least not until her favorite channels are in HD.

What's CRT flicker? I've never noticed anything wrong with my CRTs.

On LCDs, though, it's easy to spot artifacts and frame-stutter on some brands... the Philips LCDs look great, though... their new LCDs just keep getting better and better.

I've got a Panasonic 29" flat (new), and a Polytron 14" that's served me for nearly seven years.

RE: rear-projection TVs... hate them... greatly... hard to keep in alignment, especially when that huge plastic screen sags with heat, age and, errh... bumping by little kids.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

I can simulate it with my HTPC on my CRT TV in my bedroom. It is most pronounced when something is filmed using a video camera with a TV set in the scene. You can see a band moving down across the screen.

So far my parent's rear-projection TV (Sony) has survived without need of alignment since it was new.
