you're right sir. more pricey sya compare sa iba. maganda kasi reviews thats why... pero IMO bang for the buck yung S10-3 na tablet. parang IPAD tho parang lang naman

Generally with netbooks it is just one slot (although there are other units with the first 1GB of ram soldered directly on the motherboard).

whoa, ang bilis naman. Sa Ortigas Center kasi ang location ng trabaho ko. There will be a possibility na ipadala kami sa ibang bansa for 3-4 months kaya nagwi-windowshop pa lang ako. I will buy using credit card (installment).
If you are still planning to buy one at the warehouse sale, i wouldn't think you would find an Asus 1005HA left. And they only accept cash for the special warehouse sale. Sale ends Aug 31.

Anyway, even at regular prices (around P18k to P20k), the Asus EEE 1005 is a good netbook. The current models are 1005PA or PE (i think) but the general specs are similar, 10 hour battery life, 1gb ram, 10 inch LCD and usually 250gb HDD now (160gb on the older model 1005HA) and comes with Windows 7 Starter.

The bigger keyboard makes typing easier too.

Made in China units? I think I have seen similar being sold in V-Mall. The specs are basically a netbook without the keyboard.

    .

Iyan ang masama dahil almost all, one slot lang for the memory... Kaya pag nag-upgrade ka sa 2GB,- tapon ang 1GB na memory mo....

Another difference, I think,- it uses another variant of the Atom processor....

I'll buy a netbook next week or this weekend. I havent decided which brand. My choices are:

    1. MSI
    2. lenovo
    3. Asus
    and
    4. Toshiba.

Budget up to 24K. I'll purchase using credit card and 12 mos. installment.

    any new inputs?

Lenovo. Of all the netbooks i've owned (Acer One, Lenovo S10, Asus Eepc and some junk with 7" screen) this one was the best.

However I gave up with these cute toys. Screens are too small and useless for reading ebooks/PDF. Siguro yung tablet ng Asus puwede pa. Still the too small keyboard is too small for my big fingers.

Maybe the more pa-uso Ipad.....no not really.

That is why I prefer my 12 inch netbook. Bigger screen, bigger keyboard. I can read e-magazines without needing to zoom.

Do you own a NETBOOK?
