yup. the brand new unit is a bit more but it's pretty much worth the money. If you want better, for P20,995 you will get the U100+ with 2gb ram and 250gb hdd.

Lenovo S10 is a good package including looks. Downside, it's not that much upgradable so make sure you get the specs you want right away. That would include the six cell battery and memory upgrade.

Between brands, you have to check if they keyboard and touchpad works well for you because they have slightly different layout and tactile feel.

Over here, a lot of school kids do when they do their "socializing".

Me when I travel abroad, I keep in touch via email and YM webcam . I don't even carry a cellphone. I like to see my family "face to face" especially when I'm lecturing the older kid.

Imo anything beyond 1.1kgs and 10.5" isnt to be called UMPC because it defeats mobility.
