You can always manually select the RAM frequency through your BIOS. Just set it to 1333 MHz.

By default though, your board will run it at the highest speed it can. So even if it's a 1866 MHz stick, it will run at 1333 MHz by default.

Are you sure that the RAM is defective? Try other RAM slots, and make sure that your case/board isn't grounded.

Also try running your board without RAM. It should have multiple beeps to signify a "No Memory" error. Afterwards, try reseating your RAM. If it really doesn't run, that's when you try a different stick of RAM.

I can't even acces my BIOS mag iindicate yung red led nya na reading pero di magtutuloy. Binalik.ko yung 2gb RAM ko nag function naman na siya. I think defective na yung RAM kaya ayaw na pumasok kahit BIOS options at no display?
