May work but I'm sure CD-R King's initial inventory is quite high to be able to obtain such low bulk prices... Not quite sure how businesses work here in SG as well hehe...

Guys, thanks for the info. too bad i found out that they dont have a branch near our place.

In school we get the cheap mp3 players. On allowance lang kasi. Unless may bibili ng Ipod for us. It does the same thing anyway and you won't :hang: pag nawala o nasira.

Yeah, their stuffs are pretty cheap...and in most cases okay naman perhaps depende din sa gumagamit. For instance, sabay kami ng friend ko bumuli ng card reader (same model/make), after a few months nasira na ung sa kanya, but mine still rocks and worth every penny I spent.

i get my CD-Rs, CD-RWs and DVD-Rs from them. suits me fine.
i also got my USB hub and my card reader from them too, two years and still working.

however, i got a headset from them, which i used only for 3 months.

i also got from them a Kingston USB Drive for 280 pesos, whereas, different stores sell them (same configuration) at 800 pesos. laking difference. may warranty for six months.

I bought a Kingston flash drive from Amazon, The Kingston is embossed on the flash drive itself. While CD-R King Kingston is just a sticker on the flash drive.
I haven't verify this myself (too many people at CD-R King), My friend only told me about it.

Hahaha! Same here, I just let out a sigh when I compare prices in Best, Courts, Harvey when I see the memory cards. But I have no choice unless I go back home.

I did buy bulk DVDRs last November during the SITEX expo. $26 for 50 Sony DVDRs. Not bad since they sell for roughly the same price back home. But still no comparison to cheapo CDR-KING DVDRs. Had no choice since I had to back up my files because I had my HDD replaced.

Not necessarily. My wife uses a white and purple 512MB Kingston flash drive she bought from CD-R King Megamall; the Kingston typeface is also embossed on the casing.

I browsed through their website, but sometimes, it isn't that updated. Are there 8GB micro sd cards available already?

I was in Octagon Computerstore in Southmall yesterday looking
for a heapdphone but most were kinda expensive. I asked the
sales clerk if they had cheaper brands. He said, 'if you want the
"generic" type, go to CD-R King.'

So off I went and I couldn't believe my eyes- stereo headphones
with mic/volume control selling for P100 and the CDR-King brand
    for P75.00 only!

So being the cheap-o that I am, I bought the CD-R King brand (P75).
When I got home and opened it, I noticed to my horror that there was
no "mic/volume" control", the sound coming out was barely a whimper
even if on full volume from my computer controls. Worse, sound was coming
out from only one earpiece. So much for stereo sound.

The guy who said "you get what you pay for" is completely right.
I'll go back to CD-R King tomorrow and get a refund. If they refuse,
I'll just get their most expensive headphone hoping it works this time.

Serves me right for being attracted to cheap products!

I like your rating hahaha... Let me have a go.

2GB Kingston CF - Excellent (since I know it's a standard card and not a high speed card)
Card readers - Good (casing a bit flimsy but 3 years and it has never failed my rough handling)
BP511 and NB2L Batteries - Excellent, higher mAh at lower cost... So far 2 years in for my BP511 and I'm a very, very heavy DSLR user.
USB Hub - Good (nothing to write home about)
    AA rechargeable - Excellent

saka ung eneloop nila ok ba?

    thanks.
