kung di ka marunong magbuo at walang kang kaalam alam sa mga parts ng PC, masmaganda na bumili ka na lang ng buo na na system. at least may warranty pa mga yan kung masira. karamihan sa mga medyo sikat na computer shops meron nyan.

mobos today have all the peripherals built in: network interface, video card, some even have built-in wifi....not like the old days where you have to deal with ill-fitting PCI cards that don't quite line up properly with the casing.

The CPU fan installation is tricky though, you have to use force and be careful with the mobo at the same time.

Have you factored in the display/monitor in your budget? Unless you're going into gaming, modding, or just plain learning, i'd recommend a laptop so you can bring it anywhere(easier to steal too :D )

With slim type casings, you are limited in the add-on cards you can install although I doubt if any gamer would be inclined to buy this as a starting point for a game rig.

This would be a good starting point for a HTPC though.

Yup, designed more for HTPC but upgradedable naman afaik. Kaso baka hindi nga sapat sa pang-hardcore gaming.

As a HTPC, not much is needed since the unit already has the required video and audio outputs. Only compotent lacking is a tv tuner but that requirement depend if you are displaying the HTPC's output on a TV or non-tuner video display system.

Other stuff, like a HTPC remote controller is connected via USB.

SO how much did your new computer cost you? Without counting the speakers, I think it would be around P18,000 to P20,000?
