    does that mean yung mga secretary ng isang company hindi rin pwede gumamit ng mga computers na meron microsoft softwares dahil ang boss ang bumili nun? so dapat pala kung maghire ako ng secretary next time, isama ko sa requirements: bring your own licensed windows os.

    Bumili ka ng licensed windows OS na OEM worth P8,000 at install mo sa pc mo then biglang nasira ang pc mo. then bumili ka ng bagong pc. HINDI daw pwede i-install ang licensed windows xp mo sa bagong pc. This is Illegal!
    HEHEHE HAHAHAHA WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaa!!!!!!!!

    Bakit?.....

    OEM license is not tranferable. This applies to both windows and office. Only volume license is tranferable.

    funny, i find the non transferability of the OEM software to other computers to be quite stupid. that's why i buy the OEM version but never attached the sticker. if they forced me to do it, i could always retain the metal cover and install a new motherboard inside it.

    OEMs are supposed to be cheapER kaya non-transferrable. Hindi yata 8k kundi 5k.

    I bought Office 2003 and a bunch of Adobe software from amazon cause AYOKONG TINATAGA ako ng local distributors. I realise yung License ng Office eh hindi ata international.... hmmm. screw em. come and get me. hehehe.


    teka, stupid nga yung limited use to the owner/purchaser lang. Hula ko lang they want to get more money or discourage rentals. not really the secretary and boss scenario. I wonder what the policy is in the states and Aus? meron din namang mga Net cafe dun using windows. 8 dollars per hour. hahahaha.

    OEM License is not transferable??? NON-TRANSFERABLE lang yata yung license to another person but pwede i-transfer to another PC in case you need to upgrade basta sayo pa din naka-register... yung license code lang naman ireregister mo at hindi yung specs ng hardware mo...

    somebody correct me if i'm wrong...
