Some shop owners are really pushing the limits of the guerilla-chinese pricing scheme just to attract customers even if they only earn P50 a day.
So we are barking at the wrong tree if we are trying to figure out why some rental shops can afford to offer very cheap rental fee rates. I think the competition is just vicious nowadays since we are already saturated with internet cafes they are almost as common as water purifying stations.

Hehehe. In short, if you can't afford then don't use it all. Very elitist indeed!
My question, are you sure you don't use any Pirated products or any related to piracy? How about the MP3s in your iPods? Crack Symbians softwares in your cellphones?
Hypocrisy at its finest. :D

on the business side, our depot network uses legit windows 2000 and 98SE together, even windows98 is more than enough for us.
i personally am not 100% legit, thats why im looking for alternative Linux OS to slowly stay away from illegal OS. BUT i certainly dont make a PROFIT out of XP or any windows OS. cant say the same for the internet cafes which have 10-40 PCs PROFITING from pirated windows. elitist or not is just a point of view. the fact of the matter is who is really taking advantage of pirated Xps and what legal methods are used in taking them down.
