    With the quality of LCD screens, I would go for LCDs ... at least you don't have to worry about the color degrade over time and pattern burn-in that you can get with plasma screens.

    Burn-ins are already a past problem for plasmas. Modern day plasma do not suffer from burn in anymore. And one thing that Plasma has over LCD and especially LED is the price and value. A relatively big plasma (say 51") is less than 40K. For an LCD or LED it would cost much much more. But as I said this is not your room TV, plasmas are suited for a home theater setup...
