im using here smart bro. before, i was pissed off with the connection. laging down at minsan pag test ko eh 10kbps lang? pero i reported the problem to smart since lumala na talaga at may consecutive 2 days na no connection talaga. after tinwagan ako ng smart manila, asking my computer's ip address, phyisical address, etc. then she told me that there will be a technician that will be comming to our home. then it did, they just extended the antennae then placed it to higher area, then, ok na sya ngayon. no problems. may mga time nga lang na when i click a link, the browser says "server not found" but when i hit "try again", ok naman. i dont know if this problem is caused by the ISP or my browser. im using mozilla firefox 3 beta 5

Im using Smart Biro for 3 years na. I am not a fan of them. ang daming incompetent desk help and field support. I'm just lucky my brother knows how to fix the problem. including climbing my rooftop to get a good connection. also learning from a Smartbro community members from tipidpc.
I have been recording my download and reach 3Terabyte na since May 2005. from 288Kbps from meridian and 384 when it merged with Smart.
I do get constant 384Kbps from *******s or Flashget, IE http downloads, but not from browsing html, websites even using Firefox.
even with good antenna aim, they do get lag for straight days, once maybe every 3 months, but I believe maintenance lang yun kasi my bro is getting same problems on a different location.Last edited by rion; May 6th, 2008 at 07:33 PM.

As I've said, it depends on the area. There are areas where one ISP is better than the others, while it sucks in some areas.

i agree, it really depends kaya mahirap mag suggest. ako nga wala pa sa house i'm still waiting for my erpat's authorization letter para ma dsl lang ang pldt landline namin. dun lang kasi makakamura eh . at maganda naman feedback ng mga kapitbahay namin.
