By the way,I'm Still newbie here...
1. Whenever I (2x click) any pic file from any website ,the window closes automatically. It only started I think this month.
2.My antivirus always opens and scans automatically whenever I start the computer. I already removed all scheduled scans but still the same.After I click any application,the antivirus scan window pops up and scans the drive , and I always need to stop the scan.
How to stop this auto scan.
My processor is a celeron 1.2 ghz
128 mb ram
window XP professional
would appreciate any help.Thanks

September 7th, 2004 12:32 AM #724TO have better security while surfing simply change your internet browser. Stopu using Internet Explorer. there are better browsers out there, like mozilla firefox.... visit www.mozilla.org
No pop ups and it wnt download anything u dnt wnt to download.

for internet surfing, any good old Pentium III 800mhz and up will do.
But for games like Command & Conquer Generals and the like, you'll need a relatively fast machine.
I suggest a minimum:
Athlon XP 2100
256 meg ram DDR
Geforce FX5200 128meg/128bit
VIA based chipset motherboard
40Gig (or bigger) HDD
17inch monitor
And you can fit that in your 25K budget

rob22, depends on your browser.
If you're using IE, you can download the google toolbar which has blocking functionality.
Mozilla and Netscape have this built in.

they did mention that the Seal would have won a 0-60 comparison. But I agree that a 60-80 test...
