problem would be the system requirements to play it smoothly. Typically it needs a 1.5Ghz or faster CPU and 256megs RAM and GeForce4 MX440SE to play smoothly.

My Classic Pentium 2 Home PC finally gave up. After a few months in the ICU, the reaper takes him away from me.

Anyway, do you have any idea how much is a budget set-up these days? Must be an Intel.

If you are up to the challenge of installing your own (pirated or not) OS, you can build to spec from the stores at Gilmore for 25T or less.

Ako naman buhay pa ang aking Pentium MMX 233. 6 years running. Hanggang kelan kaya?

If you are into gaming... AMD chips are enough and mas mura kesa sa Intel chips... mas maganda ang performance ng AMD sa gaming kasi they are built for that and you can use Intel if you are into processing/computation issues...

otanex: Mostly, word processor, email & web and siguro konting games na rin para sa baby boy ko at sa big boy. hehehe.

Maybe a P4 1.6 or above, 256 DDR RAM, 40 to 80 GB of storage, A not so top-of-the-line but not so cheap like the S3 VCard and a 17" monitor. The allocated budget is P25,000. Nagkasabay pa sa gastos yung pagbili ng tires ng civic. Plano ko pa naman mag-15".

i agree, if you're on a tight budget, you can get an AMD processor. On the other hand if sky's the limit, go get pentium 4.

honestly, i see no difference at all between the two. except for the price.

Buhayin ko lang...

Tsikot PC peeps! Tanong ko lang kung san ba nakakabili ng memory card reader na internal slot kasing laki ng 1.44 disk drive. Multi card reader pala yun, MMC, MS, Flash, XD at may USB port.

Sinubukan ko maghanap dun sa PC stores online wala. Tsaka di ko alam tawag dun sa hinahanap ko, hehehe.
