    SP1 will install on pirated copies of Windows XP.... SP1a will not.... SP1a is the one that is equiped with the serial key protection which is also what is available on windows update...
    you can still find the original sp1 if you look hard enough...

    Kapag yung sa Windows Update na quick install ang pinili mong option, you will be asked to download a small file. 900 kb ata yun if I'm not mistaken. After mo patakbuhin yung file, it connects to Windows tapos dun na nagchecheck ng serial key.

    SP1 will install on pirated copies of Windows XP kapag 'pirated' din yung SP1 na ginamit. Or, pwede rin na kapag naginstall ka, use a serial key na hindi pa blacklisted. <--- Ito pinaka-ok!

    SP1 and SP1a both have serial key protection. Mas marami lang serial keys na nasa deny list ang SP1a.
