    Actually, the question I think was, how do you assign the correct telco identifier for a certain 3-digit prefix in an efficient manner.

    As an example, if you have a phone number in your phonebook that starts with 02-278-xxxx. How do you know for certain if you need to put an 8, 7, 6, 5, or 3 before the 3-digit prefix?

    In the example above, it's easy enough to determine that 02-278-xxxx belongs to PLDT (267 to 299 range), so the new number will then be 02-8-278-xxxx.

    But there lies the rub.... how do you do this automatically on hundreds of contacts.... without error?

    Globe has kindly provided the table below (the link provided by wowiesy) for guidance. But it doesn't change the fact that without a tool or app of some kind, this has to be done manually for each of your landline contacts.
