    nice to see a lot of fellow WRC fans here.

    i used to be an avid F1 fan until the races started looking like parades. not much action. not that i'm dissing F1, though. i still love it. i just get a better kick out of watching WRC and MotoGP!

    i find the WRC to be more exciting and i even appreciate the WRC drivers more than their F1 counterparts because what they excel at is real world conditions.

    too bad there isn't regular rally coverage like F1 though. hanggang highlights muna tayo. but even those are great for me! and axn's shakedown is a very amusing show as well!

    i can't wait to see what the guys at citroen have up their sleeves with the new C4 rally car!

    Here he lost control of the Subaru, crashed to the side, damaging/retiring his Subaru from the rally. Sa mga previous rally if I recall, if not driving related, minsan nasisiraan yung Subaru, or dahil sa gulong.

    Dati kasi, at least nasa top 3 siya with Loeb and Gronholm sa points. Ngayon 6th na lang siya. Overtaken na siya ni Sordo, Hirvonen, at Stohl.

    Grrr! Nakatulog ako! And my PVR recording failed kasi puno na hard disk. Oh well, buti nalang may replay tomorrow and on sunday.

    Yup, medyo challenging pa for a network to cover a normally 2 and a half day rally weekend event. At least AXN started covering it the way it does.

    Sana lang nga they make their rally highlights show earlier than midnight. At least oks yung timeslots for the replays sa Saturdays and Sundays.

    ano ba regular time slot nito sa AXN on weekends. ala chamba lang kung matyempuhan ko 'to during weekend nights channel surfing.

    dati si marko martin (tama ba spelling?) kilala ko dyan, saka si Gronholm. starting last year, si wonderboy Sebastian Loeb na yata dominant.

    I wish I could drive like them ...favorite leg ko yung mga rally sa dirt roads.

    Normally, immediately after the actual rally weekend, AXN shows the highlights on the following Thursdays midnight, then replays are on Saturdays 5pm, and Sundays 6pm. Though I checked the AXN website, for some reason, this week's Saturday replay is at 4:30pm.

    Hindi pa nakakabalik si Martin after his tragic crash last year that killed his co-driver.

    Yup, so far close fight this year between, both former world champions, Gronholm and Loeb.

    Alam ko mayroon ding WRC sa Star Sports(Mondays 10:30 p.m) at mas complete sila dahil pati PWRC at JWRC ay covered nila. Anyway Ford for sure ang Constructors Champion this year which is good for them!

    Galing! Fierce battle ni Loeb and Gronholm. Pero Loeb wins pa rin by just 5secs. 27 rally wins na si Loeb. The highest # of rally wins ever by a wrc driver.

    Leading pa ata ang Citroen by 11 points over Ford. But Ford is close behind, and can still clinch the Manufacturer's championship also with the help of points contribution via 2nd driver Hirvonen.

    can someone post a reliable refference website sa World Rally Cars?

    I've been wondering lately how do their tranny works... their sticks are moving on it's own. hehe...

    i was wondering too. usually sequential x-trac gearboxes ata.

    pero i noticed the same thing din with the trannies ng stock cars that best motoring flogs on racetracks, the sticks seem to move on their own too. :lol:

    hmmm... baka wala ngang reliable reference. I notice kasi kahit host ng AXN Shakedown ay restricted/limited minsan makalapit sa Cars/Engines/parts

    wished my tranny is like that. The ultimate "Best of both worlds".
