    It can. But for the kind of wheeling I do, the suspension travel just won't do (I'm currently maxing out the Pajero's IFS). And very little underbody armor could mean $$$ in repairs.

    Also, I can't afford an X5 .

    yes, it can go offroad


    but it still can't match the offroad abilities of true SUVs like the land cruiser, patrol, land rover, jeep, etc.

    Many time winner of the Gruelling Paris - Dakar Rallyes!!!!!! heheheheh :P

    IMHO, there are two types of Offroading: DIRT and CROSSCOUNTRY.

    the X5 is only good for DIRT DRIVING and not CROSS COUNTRY. Seriously, i would like to see an X5 engaging a good sized mogul. :P

    ang mahal mahal niya eh...and....

    feeling ko lang ito ha...mas ok parin pang off road safari ko kaysa sa x5...although...ang ganda talaga ng x5....

    talaga naman ginawa ang safari para sa off road. yun ang parang "destiny" ng mga nissan safari. sayang pagka safari nya pag ni once hindi ito nakapag off road.:P
